Design Audit and Identified Issues

A design audit was conducted to identify areas for improvement in usability, accessibility, and UI. Usability testing revealed several issues affecting user experience:

  • Some icons were unreadable, misleading users, and increasing order processing time.
  • Inconsistent button colors confused users, making it difficult to distinguish between text and interactive elements.
  • Low text contrast made reading difficult.

Key Redesign Improvements

  • Icon Optimization: Replaced unreadable icons and unified the icon set for consistency.
  • Button Optimization: Standardized button colors and improved visibility to enhance user interaction.
  • Improved Text Readability: Increased text contrast to make content easier to read.
  • Color Palette Refinement: Reduced the number of colors for better accessibility and consistency.

Interface Component Adaptation

  • Adjusted UI components according to a structured grid system.
  • Ensured proportional alignment across different screens.
  • Improved development efficiency by simplifying the front-end implementation process.

Impact of the Redesign

  • 30% reduction in order processing time due to improved navigation and clarity.
  • Better readability and accessibility, reducing user errors and frustration.
  • Lower cognitive load, allowing users to focus on order placement rather than interface issues.
  • More efficient development process, as the structured design system reduced implementation complexity.
